DIVISION One title favourites The Grapes United chalked up maximum points courtesy of a 4-1 success over Corsham Oak.

Following a first-half stalemate the deadlock was broken by James Worsley on 55 minutes.

Corsham replied five minutes later when Aaron Masson scored from the penalty spot.

Nathan Walker regained the lead for The Grapes and Emilio Menghini gave them some breathing space before Nick Ridout wrapped up the points when he made it 4-1 right at the death.

Calne BFC hosted FC Bradford and it was the hosts who took the spoils, courtesy of a thumping 6-1 win.

Dean Fry with a hat-trick and Stuart Windsor had the game won for Calne at the break. Phil Lewis did net for Bradford in the second half, however his goal was just a consolation as Windsor added a second and a first goal for the club from Tom Nott made up the half dozen.

A 4-1 victory for Sutton Benger over local rivals Oakhill allowed them to open their account for the season.

Chris Miles' goal for Benger separated the teams at half time, Miles added a second after the break and Rhys Merriman helped himself to a couple to make it 4-0 before Kieran Tarrant struck a late consolation for Oakhill.

Pheasant FC and FC Lacock met and it was Lacock who took all three points thanks to a 3-2 victory.

Josh Hard’s deflected put Lacock ahead in the second half. Gary Banks levelled matter when he drove through the middle before finding the net.

Kieran Hard’s excellent free kick regained the lead for Lacock and his second of the morning put them 3-1 up.

Richie Bolter’s goal for Pheasant on 85 minutes made things interesting, but Lacock held out to claim what was a deserved win.

Meadow Lane staged the first ever meeting between Westbury Rangers and Lavington Rangers and it was the hosts who picked up a second win of the campaign thanks to a 4-0 win.

Joe Moloney’s 32nd minute goal on his debut gave Rangers the lead which was doubled by Drew Adams 10 minutes later to give the hosts a 2-0 half time advantage.

Lavington had Lee Martin sent off in the second period but they remained in the game until Jon Hogarth bagged his first goal for Westbury to make it 3-0 on 84 minutes.

With two minutes remaining, second-half substitute Marc Lanfear added number four.
