A 4-1 VICTORY for Bremhill View at home to Rowdy Cow Rowde, coupled with Somerford's loss to Corsham CC Wildcats, means that Ben Redford’s side are the new leaders of the Premier Division.

For Rowde, it was the fifth successive time they had tasted defeat at the hands of a Bremhill side who led 2-0 at the break through goals from Billy Gleed and Alex Lewis.

Rory Worthington made it 3-0 before Steven House pulled a consolation goal back for Rowde.

Mark Dolman sealed victory for Bremhill who remain as the only team in the division with a 100 per cent record to date.

Corsham Youth were grateful to Bath Road for agreeing to bring their kick-off time forward by 45 minutes but it almost backfired as they had to play the whole game with just 10 players.

However they were rewarded with their first point of the campaign courtesy of a 2-2 draw.

Despite the numerical disadvantage Bath Road controlled the first half and led through Quinnan Tarawali’s stunning 30-yard curling effort and James Hernendez controlled finish.

Corsham rallied well in the second half with James Lye scoring both goals that earned them a point.

Somerford who started the day top of the table, faced their toughest challenge to date, a visit from Corsham CC Wildcats gave Trevor Rawlings' side the chance to show that their three-match winning start was no fluke.

Although they played their part in a thriller they came up just short as a Nigel Curtis inspired performance helped Wildcats to a 3-2 win.

Matt Holdaway saw his opener for Somerford cancelled out by the first of the morning for Curtis which levelled matters prior to half time.

After the break Ashley Monaghan fired home from the penalty spot to regain the lead for Somerford.

Sam Thomson restored parity for the Wildcats before Nigel Curtis earned them maximum points with a spectacular 25 yard thunderbolt.
