WHITE Horse A came from behind to claim a 3-1 victory at Premier Division basement side Bath Road with Nick Taylor scoring all three goals.
It was Bath Road who opened the scoring on 33 minutes when Tim Beecham gifted the ball to Matt White who made no mistake.
Within two minutes parity was restored through Taylor atoning for his earlier miss to level the scores before half time.
A second from Taylor after an assist from Adam Pothecary saw White Horse take the lead on 52 minutes.
Taylor sealed victory for Clive Black’s side when he completed his hat-trick on 75 minutes.
Somerford and Audley were in action on Friday evening, with the latter, who suffered a 13-0 loss, gaining praise from their hosts for taking the game at short notice in the hope that the villagers can catch up on games prior to the WG Parr Trophy semi-final in a fortnight’s time.
Corsham’s Southbank ground staged the game and it was a red letter day for Kent Kauppinen who scored a seven-timer, four of which came in the first half.
Josh Hughes added four, with singles from Krysten Hext and Matt Holloway making up the 13 as Trevor Rawlings' side moved up to second place behind leaders Bremhill View who they face next Sunday.
