MALMESBURY Victoria gained revenge for their Les Phillips Cup exit as they cruised to a 6-1 win over Radstock Town to climb to fourth in the Toolstation League First Division on Saturday.

They took just three minutes to respond when Ed Wilkins headed home from 10 yards out.

Malmesbury took the lead in the 20th minute when Jones found Josh Russell, who cut back inside for Wilkins to get his second.

The hosts extended their lead on the stroke of half-time as Sam Parker outmuscled his defender before cutting the ball back for Jones to score.

The second half became a one-sided affair as Radstock were reduced to 10 men before the fourth came when a Josh Hughes cross was misjudged by the visiting goalkeeper and Russell was on hand to tap in.

The Vics further extended their lead when Antony Brown’s cross was turned home by a Town substitute before Wilkins completed his hat-trick.

Then on 11 minutes Adey Harvey’s excellent pass set up Jake Flower to double their side's lead.
