BROTHERS Bradley and Callum Smith both face the biggest fights of their careers this weekend.
Trowbridge ABC’s Bradley travels to Swindon to compete in the pre-quarter finals of the National Schoolboys Championship after winning in Cornwall last weekend to be crowned Western Counties champion.
Bradley is due to face the London champion and faces a hefty challenge against a tough opponent from Repton ABC, which is one of the best amateur clubs in the country.
Callum, who is also a Western Counties champion and reached the finals weekend in Sheffield a couple of months ago before losing to the eventual national champion, travels to Finland for his first international tournament, with boxers from the USA and Europe competing in the Pirrka Cup.
Trowbridge ABC head coach Steve Bryant said: “It’s amazing to have two such talented boxers from the same family. Although it’s early days, I’m expecting these two boys to have long and successful careers in boxing.”
