A DEPLETED West Wilts ladies side ran out 4-2 winners over Salisbury 2nd.

Missing a number of defenders, Lulu Cope joined forces at the back with Lizzie Robson, Kayleigh Pothecary and Amanda Robson.

Livie Evans scored her first of the day to give the hosts the lead.

West Wilts doubled their lead before the visitors halved the arrears with a penalty flick on the stroke of half-time.

Rosie Vallis won a penalty for the hosts in the second period to help give her side a 3-1 lead before Sharna Crowe bagged Wilts’ fourth.

The thirds returned home from Wells City Acorns with a 2-2 draw.

The visitors took the lead following some good work from Colette Henshaw and Natalie Scott saw Nichola Ford find the target.

Sally Webb was unable to prevent Wells from levelling the scores before the break.

Tess Van Den Berg played in a pivotal role in the second half, and it was her pass to Ford which set up the second.

The Wilts goalscorer was fouled in the D earning the visitors a penalty corner which saw Ford’s shot deflected home.

However, the hosts levelled matters late in the game.
