POTTERNE'S promotion to Premier Two in the Wadworth 6X West of England Premier League has been confirmed.

The West of England Premier League have confirmed the first XI promotion and relegations following the conclusion of the 2013 season.

Potterne booked their place in Premier Two after defeating Lechlade on the final day of the season on August 31 to win the Glos/Wilts Division title and will take one of the two places vacated by relegated Warminster and Gloucester City Winget.

The other Wiltshire teams are largely unaffected by the changes with Wiltshire Division champions Swindon promoted to the Glos/Wilts Division and bottom side Nationwide House set for a reprieve. Wiltshire League Division One champions Purton will join the Wiltshire Division.

West of England Premier League promotions and relegations

Premier 1 - Champions: Bath; Relegated: Keynsham and Ilminster.

Premier 2 - Promoted: Taunton Deane and Weston Super Mare; Relegated: Warminster and Gloucester City Winget.

Bristol/Somerset - Promoted: Clevedon; Relegated: Street; Reprieved: Taunton.

Glos/Wilts - Promoted: Potterne; Relegated: Painswick, Stroud, Dumbleton.

Bristol and North Somerset - Promoted: Chew Magna; Reprieved: Twyford House.

Somerset - Promoted: Wembdon; Relegated: Ilton; Reprieved: Butleigh.

Gloucestershire - Promoted: Tewkesbury; Relegated: Bredon, Charlton Kings, Cinderford St John.

Wiltshire - Promoted: Swindon; Reprieved: Nationwide House.

Four new clubs joining WEPL are North Petherton (Somerset Division), YMCA (Bristol and North Somerset), Gloucester AIW (Glos Division) and Purton (Wilts Division).
