WILTSHIRE'S hopes of starting their new season were foiled by the weather yesterday.
The county, led by Corsham's Michael Coles, were due to begin their preparations for the new campaign with a friendly against a Gloucestershire 2nd XI at South Wilts, but the match was unable to take place.
Wiltshire's warm up will now start with their annual Marlborough Cup match against Berkshire at Trowbridge Cricket Club this Sunday at 11am.
