LIAM Dawson has been named in England’s T20 squad to face Sri Lanka next month.

The all-rounder, from Calne, who went to the World T20 tournament earlier this year, has yet to win a cap for his country.

But with several star names rested, the 26-year-old Hampshire player could be in line for his debut at the Aegas Bowl on July 5.

His county colleague and fellow Wiltshire graduate James Vince, fresh from playing in England’s Test series win over Sri Lanka, has also been included in the T20 squad.

The Steeple Ashton man has also been named in the one-day international squad.
