Miss Joanne Atkinson and Mr Michael William Tucker were married at the Dunes Hotel Beach Resort, Margarita, Venezuela, on March 10.
The bride is the daughter of Malcolm and Sheila Wood of Burnopfield, Newcastle upon Tyne and the bridegroom is the son of Peter and Lucy Tucker, of Corsham.
In attendance were the bride's parents, the best man Jonathon Furby, the bridegroom's brother Alan Tucker and his fiance Julie Francis Lang, and long term friends Tony and Rose Niblett. A reception was held on their return at Whitley Golf Club on March 18.
The couple met while the bride was training at the United Freestyle Taekwon-do Association in Bradford in Avon where the bridegroom is an instructor. The bride is an office administrator at SLR Consulting Ltd, based in Bradford on Avon. The couple live in Westbury.
