Do readers have knowledge of Arthur Robert Ford, born Melksham 1889, died Trowbridge 1957. He was married three times, twice a widower and believed to have been survived by his last wife, Florence Louisa Ford (nee Hillman). They married in December 1946 and at his death in 1957 lived in Melton Road, Trowbridge.
His second wife was an Emma Elliot, whom he married in the early part of 1920 in Melksham. He appears to have had step-children, probably from his last marriage, and was known to them as Poppy or Pop. At the time of his death he was working for Bradford on Avon Council as a labourer.
