If any readers have children with Type 1 diabetes then we’d like to encourage them to take part in one of our children’s residential events this summer.
We know that taking part in events like these makes a massive difference to the lives of children who may be struggling with aspects of their diabetes. Kayaking, rock climbing, mountain biking and day trips are just some of the activities.
We don’t want any child to feel isolated because of their diabetes. Our events are a brilliant opportunity for children to make lasting friendships, learn more about their diabetes and improve their care.
For more info, including details of our bursary scheme, visit www.
