Thank you to Mr and Mrs Morris of Petticoat Lane, Dilton Marsh, for all the efforts they have made over various years to raise money through the garden parties they have held for both local and international charities.
This year was the turn, amongst others, of the Warminster and District Riding for the Disabled who received £200 from their efforts.
We are extremely grateful for this donation, which will go towards helping disabled local school children in the Warminster, Westbury and surrounding district to enjoy the benefits which we are able to offer and the further aims and objectives for our local disabled children, which are:
* to reach therapeutic goals.
*achieve their own personal ambitions.
* to combat social isolation.
* develop life skills.
*experience the outdoors.
* connect with animals.
Mr and Mrs Morris’ donations will go part way in helping our voluntary organisation to achieve these objectives.
J S Dawkins, Treasurer, Warminster RDA, Dilton Marsh.
