Last Thursday walking along Market Street from the post office, as I approached the old town hall I noticed all the stains on the wall. Are they caused by gentlemen urinating against them?
I thought that the town hall was cleaned last year. Also there are stains all along the pavement up to the end bus stop and against the wall where the bin is, caused by spillages of some sort I should think.
Does Wiltshire Council not have any street cleaners any more, or do they get them in when needed in an emergency clean-up? Are there any cameras in Market Street to catch people who do this? If so the council could get them to clean it up.
Ian Sampson, Southwick.
PS: This is supposed to be the county town, and they need a litter patrol to catch other offenders i.e. smokers – there are ciggy bins.
