Trowbridge Players and TAOS Musical Theatre recently performed Oh, What A Lovely War! at the Arc Theatre to mark the centenary of the outbreak of the First World War.
The show was a great success and audiences very appreciative. However, due to the high cost of producing such a show it wouldn’t have been possible without support. We would like to say a huge thank you to Trowbridge Area Board, Forces War Records and Oval of Westbury who have been very generous in supporting the production.
Their support has enabled us to give eight performances, much more than we would otherwise be able to do. This meant more people had the opportunity to see the musical which showed the horrors of the war. Once again, a big thank you to everyone involved who made the production possible.
