We would like to thank all who supported the church’s Flower Festival on October 3-5.
The three days saw many visitors come to view the 25 floral arrangements displayed around the church. Special thanks to the mayor for officially opening the festival and the flower arrangers from Trowbridge and District Floral Art Club and Melksham Floral Art Club who kindly joined with church members in arranging beautiful displays.
Marion Davies, who organised the event together with a small committee, felt the weekend to be a great success and we are pleased to report that £700 was raised which will be handed to the Bath Cancer Unit Support Group Trowbridge branch to assist in raising £1 million by the end of the year for the Bath Cancer Positron Scanner Appeal.
