I recenly had the chance to join Southwick Country Park volunteer group in cutting back brambles and helping with burning the rubbish we had made.
The one thing I found disgusting is some dog owners are picking up their dog mess in black plastic bags then throwing the bags into the hedges. This action is pure laziness on their part. Please show some respect for those of us who have to work in and around these hedges. It’s bad enough avoiding stepping on it on the ground while we are working. Not nice to have it dangling in front of our faces.
All who use this park should take away their rubbish and dog mess. We all must play our part in looking after our world. It starts here and now.
