About two years ago I wrote to you and the media concerning the dangers of ultra violet light.
In my work I was in contact with artificially created ultra violet light. I was always very careful because it was known ultra violet light could cause melanoma, skin cancer.
About two years ago there was a warning ultra violet light had reached us through a gap in the atmosphere and could be dangerous; nothing since. Now this morning various skin creams were discussed on the early TV news. Some carry these stars which mean they protect, others do not, so presumably people think they are protecting against sun skin damage when they are not.
I feel this whole problem should be given much more attention and publicity.
