It is my understanding that the care village scheme at Grovelands in Warminster will be coming before the planning committee at Wiltshire council very shortly.
This application includes plans for a surgery, a children’s play area, 40 bungalows, extra public amenity space and many other features. It already has support from the Environmental Agency. These facilities are much needed in the area.
After so many years of delay, I feel this scheme will be of great benefit to the community as a whole. As a former councillor and having lived in the town for over 30 years, I do hope therefore it will be approved at long last.
