Welcoming people from all over, the market really is an opportunity to alleviate all; to relax and unwind as cultures are intertwined. For the Bath Christmas market – based off the all-popular German Christmas market – allows us onlookers to not only have fun but learn the cultural beauty alongside.

Bath, a city filled with historical statements, has and always will be a beautiful place to visit, however, upon seeing the Christmas outlook Bath has taken to, a game changer it is, absolute. Colourful lights in assorted colours hung, beckoning almost. Whilst buildings danced in shades ever so eye catching.
To set the scene, this was merely the beginning. Music dwindled through each way from performers creating an uttermost Christmas feel – songs everyone in surround were able to sing along to, or even just watch in awe as they make their way around such splendour. Bath Cathedral, stood in all its glory too, was mounted with such colours described and a projector of holiday silhouettes. Christmas, however, is never complete without a tree – there it had been put up, along the Cathedral. Spectators did not let the chance escape them, snapping up photographs to capture this moment.
 
The main event, however, the stalls filled with goodies of all kinds: from ornaments to garments to food. The selection was wide, and in resemblance to what you would find in the typical German markets.
Izabella Chorley, interested in such, commented: "The way that these stalls has captured the historical notion, only found in Germany, really is lucky for all of us here today for not only can we experience what Christmas is like here, in England, but also have a taste of German culture." She continues in amazement of the assortment that there is available "the food too, never had I had a Bratwurst, for example, but nor had I seen something as interesting, in contrast, like a wooden tie".
The contrast is true, however that is what makes the Bath Christmas market so amazing – available to experience and see such different things at each stall.
