Katie Hopkins has spoken of her fear that she may die during brain surgery to cure her epilepsy.
The 40-year-old former Apprentice TV show contender revealed that she had made the decision to undergo the procedure later this year.
She said the surgery involved taking a part of her head off and then bringing her back to consciousness to talk to her and move her limbs.
“The part they need to take out for me is in deep. This is the fear, it makes me sweat just thinking about it,” the controversial columnist told The Sun.
She continued: “There’s a 40% chance I get rid of it all together. But there’s a 20% chance I would lose my left arm or leg – I could end up paralysed.
“There’s also a 1% chance I will die.”
Hopkins explained that her epilepsy is so severe that it causes her to fit every night.
