Elle Macpherson has apparently hinted that she might not choose to star in Friends if she had her time again.
The Aussie supermodel played dancer Janine Lecroix – one of Joey’s many love interests – in five episodes of the adored sitcom in 1999.
But it seems she wishes she had thought about it a little harder before signing up.
Several outlets report that Elle told Australia’s TV Week: “If I’d known how important it was in the US, or how long it would be on TV, I may not have chosen to do it.
“It was a lot of pressure if you look at it in the way that it will be around for 20 or 30 years.”
Janine left Friends after her relationship with Joey (Matt LeBlanc) failed to work out.
But catwalk queen Elle suggested she could have stayed on longer as she was asked to do more episodes.
However, it seems she said no because she was based in the UK rather than America at the time.
