The first production of the autumn season for Trowbridge Arts on Saturday is a family-friendly adventure, A Real Fairy Story, playing at the town hall at 3pm.
Ripstop Theatre have created a show where comedy, magic and shadow puppetry combine to make this full of wonder and close encounters of the fairy kind.
On Wednesday, October 1, the hall welcomes the wonderful Two Gents Theatre Company with Taming Of The Shrew. Tackling the classic war of the sexes, is Petrucchio’s ‘taming’ of Kate an act of love, of violent submission, or both? In their distinct cross cultural style Two Gents fuse Shakespeare’s text with the actors’ experience of migration, displacement and cultural otherness.
