IRVING Group Captain (Retd) John Napier Beatson MBE, PhD Died peacefully at home on Wednesday 3rd August 2011, aged 81. Beloved husband of Alison and the late Elisabeth and cherished father of John, Frances, Louise, Richard, Margaret, David, Alexander and Rosie. Devoted to and adored by his many grandchildren; he lives on in his family. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Dilton Marsh on Monday 8th August at 12.30 pm. Family flowers only, donations to Dorothy House c/o Elizabeth Snell Funeral Service, 16 Warminster Road, Westbury, Wiltshire BA13 3PB.
