The team behind Bradford on Avon’s Secret Gardens Festival learnt from the best when they took part in Gardeners’ Question Time at the Wiltshire Music Centre on Monday.
The BBC Radio Four programme, which will air on Wednesday, invites gardening enthusiasts to ask questions of a panel of experts, which on Monday included Eric Robson as chairman and Christine Walkden, Matthew Briggs and Matthew Wilson.
The Secret Gardens team were joined by Freshford and District Horticultural Society, Winsley and District Gardening Club and six Bath gardening groups.
Susan Andrew, of Newtown, said: “I have listened to the programme for over 30 years and it was nice to be there in person. The panel were wonderful, sparking off each other and it was a lot more fun than I expected.”
