A woman had to be cut free from her car last night after it came off the A361 in Rode and crashed into a water filled ditch in woodland.
Two fire engines from Trowbridge, a fire engine from Frome and an emergency support vehicle from Trowbridge attended the scene at around 8.48pm.
They winched the car from the ditch and used hydraulic rescue equipment to cut the car and free the woman.
She was taken the Royal United Hospital, Bath, with neck pain.
