A 70-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was knocked over by a car in Trowbridge this morning.
The man was walking on Weavers Drive near the junction with Broadcloth Lane when he was hit by a black Nissan Primera.
He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening. The Nissan driver was not injured.
Police were notified by paramedics at 8.19am, and temporarily closed the road.
