From Maleficent to Magnificent. This is how I’d describe my visit to Trowbridge Odeon a week ago Tuesday. I left Sainsbury’s and was about to enter the multi-storey car park when the radiator on my Peugeot decided to burst.
Getting to the lower level of the car park and reversing to a space, I found, after locking and walking away, that there was no phone signal to call a mechanic friend.
On arrival at the Odeon, the wonderful manager phoned through for me, then said ‘Enjoy the film, someone will be here to help when you leave Screen 2’. This I did, enjoying Maleficent in its entirety, a film I’d be happy to watch more than once.
David at the desk was waiting for me with water for the car, then waved a cheery goodbye making sure I was safely on my short trip home.
The mechanic replaced the radiator and another related part, so I was mobile within a day.
Thanks to the Odeon manager, I had coffee, great service, a wonderful film and friendly service from people who cared about making my evening a night to remember, instead of an evening I’d rather have forgotten. Thank you for magnificent service, which comes highly recommended.
