FAMILIES are well catered for come rain or shine at the Dick Whittington Mohair Countryside Centre.
The centre, in Longhope, Gloucestershire, has both indoor and outdoor activities and has lots of facilities suitable for children aged 10 and under.
It includes an 8,000 sq ft indoor play area complete with ball pools, climbing apparatus, tunnels and slides. There is also a toy corner, children's shop with toys, sweets books and games and a restaurant.
The centre's farm is home to the Hamilton herd of pedigree Charolais Cattle and produces mohair wool from its goat herd, so there is lots of learn about the animals.
Children can also meet Shetland ponies, deer and visit the pheasant pen and there is a giant sand pit, rickety bridge play area, pet room and aquarium.
If the weather is favourable there is an outdoor picnic zone and a number of walks and hillside climbs including nature trails and a spot the buzzard family' walk.
