BABY Chayse was born two days late, coming into the world at a healthy weight of almost 10lb.
He is the first child for Sadie Pritchard, 18, and she and Chayse's dad, Paul Beales, 26, are delighted with their new arrival.
After going into labour at home on Sunday Miss Pritchard rushed down to Trowbridge Maternity Unit, but was taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital early on Monday morning where she gave birth.
Miss Pritchard said: "I chose the name Chayse because my mum thought of it and I just liked it, and the middle name Ashton was also one that I just liked."
The pregnancy ran smoothly with no major problems, and although Miss Pritchard didn't crave food she admits to being partial to ice.
"I had a thing for ice cubes and would be having them at all times of the day," she said.
Born: January 22, 8.40am, Weight: 9lb 13oz, Parents: Sadie Pritchard and Paul Beales, of Warminster.
