I READ the recent articles on police enforcement of parking restrictions in Bradford, but would like the police to look at Rowden Lane.
Since Sainsbury's has taken over the former Budgens site and imposed a time limit on the store's car park the local workers have been parking on the side of the road and even on the pavement of Rowden Lane, making it highly dangerous entering and especially exiting the car park.
As Rowden Lane is still officially a bridleway (under section 34 of the 1988 Road Traffic Act it is illegal for vehicle access on a bridleway) then surely the police should act there also.
