Can I please ask you to include on you letter page my appeal to all driving schools and driving instructors.
I am appalled to see each day instructors getting learner drivers to do three-point turns and parallel parking on this busy B road. I think this is most unfair to the learner drivers. Rosefield Way is a busy road and a bus route.
Now heavy lorries are using it due to the weight restrictions on the Westbury railway bridge and road works in Westbury.
As an experienced driver I do not consider doing a three-point turn and certainly not parallel parking.
At times when learner drivers are attempting this manoeuvre, it results in two cars stopped abreast in the road while the learner waits for traffic to pass before they can complete the turn.
Come on, instructors, spare a thought for traffic and your learner drivers.
Sheila McSherry, Rosefield Way, Westbury.
