A MAN lost control of his sports car and had to be cut free by firefighters after flying through a hedge and finishing upside down in a ditch.
The accident happened shortly after 9pm last night at Trowle Common between Trowbridge and Bradford on Avon.
Two pumping appliances and an emergency support unit from Trowbridge attended the scene.
The firefighters used a chainsaw to cut through the hedge and rescue the man at 9.30pm.
He was taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital with what was thought to be minor injuries.
