A celebration of the cultural diversity in Wiltshire will take place this month as part of Black History Month.
To mark the event, displays, film projects and reading lists compiled at libraries have been organised by Wiltshire Council.
The County Hall in Trowbridge, Monkton Park in Chippenham and the Springfield Community Campus in Corsham will have multi-cultural dishes to celebrate.
From October 6 at County Hall there will be posters, African jewellery and artefacts, and an animated film based on short audio clips of interviews with local elders.
It was recorded as part of the black history project called SEEME and captured memories of elders from Wiltshire’s black and minority ethnic communities.
From October 7 to 17, Monkton Park will host SEEME banners which will also be available to view at County Hall and the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre from October 20.
