A Bake and Brew by teenagers at a Trowbridge youth club on Valentine’s Day raised money for the Samaritans.
The young people – members of the Zion Baptist Church Z Club – held the event in the church hall on Union Street, Trowbridge, on Saturday raising £92.
Z Club leader Heather Skull said: “The Samaritans say that about a third of all young people will suffer some form of depression.
“Between 20 and 30,000 cases of young people receiving hospital treatment because they have self-harmed are reported every year.
“We know they’re under a lot of pressure. And we know the Samaritans is often the lifeline that helps some of these young people – it’s literally a lifesaver.”
