FAMILY-RUN Thomas Firbank Removals and Storage has relocated its premises from Bathampton to Southwick in a move that is hoped to give the company room to expand.
The business, which was set up in 1997, packs and relocates home and office contents to locations all over the country and now the company has moved itself to the Dunkirk Business Park on Frome Road.
Managing director Tom Firbank said: “The move gives us modern storage and office space which we were not able to find in Bath. We can now expand alongside our North Dorset branch in Gillingham and we are grateful to Carter Jonas for helping us find the ideal premises.”
The company employs 18 staff, including full time HGV drivers and porters.
In addition to large and small removals, the company also provides overseas removals as well as a packing service and secure storage for fine art and antiquities.
Drivers are now able to offer regular runs to London help to serve the part load requirements of clients in the M3 and M4 corridors.
