KIDDIWINKS Pre-school visited Trowbridge Fire Station with over 20 children, ranging from two-four years old, who go to the pre-school, which is based in the grounds of Paxcroft School. Play leader Ali Earley said: "It was such a fantastic visit. Fire Officer Nick did a lovely talk with the children and showed them an age appropriate video showing the dangers of fire. He dressed up our deputy, Debbie, and kept the children interested the whole time.
"He then took us outside where the children could climb up onto a fire engine and talked about all the equipment. He and another fire officer explained and demonstrated how they use their fire engine and the tools on it. The children (and some adults) all got to use the water hoses and everyone had such a great day.
"The trip was informative, knowledgeable and fun for both children and adults. We just wanted to say a big thank you to them for letting us come every year."
