Elizabeth I did not have her step-sister Mary Tudor (Wiltshire Times, August 21, page 65) executed, as she died in 1558 and Elizabeth I followed her on the English throne that year.
But Elizabeth I signed the warrant for the beheading of her cousin Mary, Queen of Scots, in 1587.
