FANS of ‘Animal Park’ have reasons to be excited with the return of the series coming later this month.
The BBC programme is set to be broadcast from Longleat to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the safari park.
After a seven-year hiatus, the popular show presented by Kate Humble and Ben Fogle is returning to celebrate the milestone of the world’s first drive through safari park outside of Africa.
Animal Park Summer Special, which begins on BBC One at 9.15am on Monday, August 22, will be shown throughout the week and features five 45-minute programmes filmed at Longleat.
As well as looking back over the years, the series will uncover what’s going on at the park today with its new generation of keepers looking after more than 1,100 wild, cute and deadly animals across the estate.
As well as the established team of Ben and Kate, the series will also introduce Jean Johansson, a former CBBC presenter and One Show journalist, as a roving reporter.
