AN appeal has been launched to find witnesses in Warminster after a man was hit by a bus which then failed to stop at the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 40s, was removing things from the back of his car when he was hit by a white ‘hopper bus’ in Victoria Road at 6.45pm on Thursday (Jan 2). The driver of the bus failed to stop.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “The incident caused the man to be pinned up to his car. He was not believed to have been injured and did not require medical treatment. The driver did not stop.
“Anyone who witnessed the incident should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
