PUPILS celebrated their favourite stories yesterday as World Book Day returned for its 20th year.
Hundreds of children from schools across West Wiltshire got in the spirit by dressing up as Goldilocks, Buzz Lightyear, Snow White, Where's Wally and many more.
Teachers, teaching assistants and school staff wasted no opportunity to join in the fun by sporting wacky costumes too.
The event sees children across the UK dress as their favourite characters, receive book tokens and join in the events that schools and community groups run to mark the wonder of everything to do with reading.
