THE chapel at Yarnbrook was reopened 60 years ago on May 31, 1957. The chapel had closed a few years earlier. The building was put up for sale at auction, the chapel was bought and presented back to the community as a place of worship.
We hope among the readers of the paper there may be some who attended Yarnbrook chapel in the past, possibly at Sunday School.
The anniversary will be marked with a service on Saturday, June 3 at 3pm. There will also be a small exhibition of the past history of the chapel and any items or photos we could borrow or copy would be very helpful. For further details please contact the Pastor, Andrew Jones, on Trowbridge 01225 920818 or adjones66@hotmail.com.
