A CARE home in Trowbridge has honoured the former deputy chairman and Wiltshire trustee of The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT) by hanging a portrait of him.
The portrait of Brian Goodson was unveiled by Don Wood, chairman of the charity, at Goodson Lodge in Hilperton Road on Tuesday in the presence of his widow Sue Goodson and daughter Pip Davies.
Opening in Spring 2017, Goodson Lodge is named after Mr Goodson, who died in September 2015, and will aim to offer a specialist care environment designed to enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia.
During his years of service, Mr Goodson was a familiar and popular visitor to the charity’s care homes and regularly took part in events as a judge, master of ceremonies and more.
