SALISBURY Playhouse is on the look-out for local women to play old ladies in its new production of The Ladykillers this autumn.
The theatre is seeking mature ladies who look over the age of 65 to play the old ladies who appear at the end of Act One and beginning of Act Two to watch a concert.
A contribution towards travel expenses and complimentary tickets will be available.
The Ladykillers runs from October 31-November 18, with matinees on Thursdays and Saturdays. Women do not need to be available for every performance and there will be some flexibility within those dates, but Salisbury Playhouse would like people to commit to as many performances as possible.
They will be required to attend a workshop in early autumn, a costume fitting and a dress rehearsal on October 30.
To be considered for a role, go to www.salisburyplayhouse.com to download an application form or contact gjenya.cambray@salisburyplayhouse.com. All applications must be received by September 16.
