A FAMILY fun run in Warminster raised more than £200 for the town's upcoming carnival spectacular.
The Carnival Chase, organised by Redfish Events working with Warminster Carnival, involved 98 runners taking on a 10 or three kilometre run on Sunday that started and finished at Warminster Town Park.
Despite numbers being down on what one of the organisers Tracey Hyde wanted, she was still pleased with the feedback they received and contributing towards the carnival.
"It was a really fun day out, there was a great atmosphere, we raised some funds and the route was very popular," she said.
"There were a lot of other big runs going on in the county so if we do it again we will change the date but everyone had a really good time and were full of praise for our organising efforts."
The carnival takes place in late October.
