THE pavements in and around Trowbridge are in disrepair and require urgent attention.
I am particularly concerned about the well used St Thomas’ Road pavements on both sides of this road.
Walking into Trowbridge town centre and back is becoming more and more dangerous. The surface is uneven, worn away and it needs to be resurfaced without delay.
I am elderly, advised to exercise and keep walking. This is a now a challenge as I am afraid of tripping up.
As wintertime approaches, the situation can only get worse. I appeal to the council to inspect and give this a priority undertaking.
