TWO people have been cut free from a car after a serious accident which closed the A350 at Beanacre near Melksham in both directions.
They were trapped in their vehicle near Beechfield House following a collision between a lorry and a car.
Three Dorset and Wiltshire fire crews from Corsham and Chippenham and a heavy rescue unit from Trowbridge were called out to the scene.
Wiltshire Police and the South Western Ambulance Service are also attending.
Police received a call at 1.15pm. The people freed from the car are understood to be in the care of the ambulance service.
