FOUR teenagers have been arrested following a spate of burglaries in the west of the county over the past few weeks.
Officers from Community Policing Teams, the Community Tasking Team and Tri-force were out on patrol in Trowbridge last night following an increase in reports where car keys and vehicles had been stolen from properties.
Four youths, aged between 16 and 19, have been arrested in connection with the incidents and are currently in police custody.
All but one of the stolen vehicles have now been located and police are asking for the public's help in finding the final one.
It is a blue VW Golf TDI Sport, which was stolen from an address in Westbury.
Anyone who sees the car, apparently abandoned or parked somewhere unusual, is asked to contact police.
Anyone with information about burglaries, or who witnesses something suspicious, is urged to contact Wiltshire Police on 101. Alternatively you can phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, where information can be left anonymously.
