A PUPIL from Dilton Marsh Primary School who completed a sponsored silence earlier this year has raised more than £270 for Fairfield Farm College.
Ten-year-old Shannon Pierce was silent though the whole school day to raise money for the college, who are fundraising for their new indoor equestrian centre. Charity fundraising manager at Fairfield Farm College, Debbie Hughes, said: “Shannon describes herself as chatty and bubbly so this was a real challenge for her.
“She wanted to do something to raise funds for the college and in particular to support the new Indoor Horse Arena Project, which will directly benefit the students.
“We want to say a huge thank you to Shannon for wanting to do this and supporting the work of the college.”
