MULTIPLE cannabis street warnings were handed out to youths over the course of three days this week for possessing the Class B drug in the Trowbridge area.
On Friday at 11.20pm, two 19-year-old men were stopped by officers for possessing cannabis in Bythesea Road and searched under section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Just over 24 hours later at 11.55pm on Saturday, an 18-year-old man from the Trowbridge area was questioned by police at St Stephen’s Place, under the same act, and they found that he too had the drug on him.
Finally, on Sunday at 8.25pm, a PCSO on patrol came across a group of teenage boys, aged between 16-17, who were all in possession of cannabis.
Police say they will be interviewed at a later date.
The other culprits were all given cannabis street warnings but they avoided any further punishment.
